When your baby starts crawling they are exposed to whatever cleaning solution you use on your floors. It is very important that your using a non-toxic solution like Bona which has been certified safe for children and pets. WE HAVE A CRAWLER!

It’s official I have a crawler in the house! Ambrose is 8 months now and he is crawling very fast. It’s been about a year since our last son was crawling so I’m having to baby proof all over again.
This may make you cringe but he has a fascination with the dog bowl. Specifically the food. I am convinced he thinks they are treats set out just for him. And if that wasn’t enough to drive me crazy. Our floors are always dirty from the dog tracking in dirt.

This may be my third child but I still worry about his health and all the nasty things that are lingering on my floors. You may be thinking at this point….well clean your floors. We were geniuses and installed flooring that isn’t supposed to get wet…..in a kitchen! Yeah, major regrets. Now I have tried a lot of different things on my laminate floors and I am really excited about this product I found.

THE SHIMMY METHOD WASN’T WORKING

I only recommend products I love and use myself and this sleek lady mop is my new best friend. It’s called the Bona Laminate Floor Spray Mop (it also works on stone and tile). Before this sleek lady came into my life I was putting cleaning cloths under my feet and spraying the bona solution as I shimmied around my kitchen mopping with my feet. How’s that for a mental picture?

What took me 30 minutes now takes less than 5. Not only is the Bona Laminate Floor Mop faster to clean with but it does a great job! My floors look brand new after using it. Besides the cleaning power, I also love the cleaning solution because it is safe for babies, pet’s, and the environment.

A SAFE & QUICK SOLUTION

The Bona floor mop cleaning solution is non-toxic and Greenguard certified for indoor air quality. It gives me peace of mind about what I am putting on my floor which ultimately ends up all over my crawling baby’s hands.

If you have stone, tile or laminate floors and little kids like me, then you need this sleek mop in your life. I don’t know how I ever cleaned my floors without this…oh yeah the shimmy method! Don’t be like me! Haha nobody needs to get their workout in that way!

You can get the Bona floor mop at Walmart or on Amazon, which I suggest because you can also pick up extra mop heads (which they don’t sell in stores). Believe me when I say you’ll want the extra mop heads. They are machine washable and easy to swap out for a fresh one. Below are some quick links to the sleek bona floor mop on Amazon:

Now that I have a quicker way to clean my floors, I’m off to chase my crawling baby. I would love to hear from you in the comments on your favorite way to clean your floors.
