WHAT MATTERS MORE IN MARRIAGE, THAN BEING RIGHT This morning as I was leaving for work, I backed out of my driveway and I drove right into my husband’s nearly-new car. I almost immediately burst into tears and as I walked out to see how bad the damage was, I knew immediately all the things my husband could say to me in the next few minutes. He could tell me I should have been more careful and he would have…

DOE'S GOD CARE WHAT WE WATCH? You Don't Have To Look Far To Find Scriptures In The Bible That Talk About What We Should And Should NOT Look At. God Cares About Everything That Influences Us, Whether That Is Through Our Eyes, Ears Or Mouth. What We Watch On Tv And The Music We Listen To All Impact Us On Some Level. The Bible Says “I Will Set No Wicked Thing Before Mine Eyes: I Hate The Work Of Them That Turn Aside; It Shall Not Cleave To Me.” - Psalms 101:3 From This Verse We Understand Two Things. One, We Should Look At NO WICKED Thing. Two, If We Follow That Principal, Evil Will Not Cleave To Us. With This Verse In Mind We Should Always Check To Make Sure A Tv Show, Movie, Video Game Or Anything We See Has Nothing Wicked Or Evil In It. Each Of Us Should Also Consider Going Through Our Own Personal Movie Collection And Evaluate What We're Allowing In Our Homes.

MODEST & FEMININE NAVY FLORAL OUTFIT My Favorite Thing About Getting Dressed Is Knowing All The Money I've Saved By Buying Thrifted Items. When You Shop At Thrift Stores To Add Pieces To Your Wardrobe You Can Often Find A One Of A Kind Or Vintage Item. In My Experience, These "finds" Have Been My Favorite Pieces To Wear. In This Look Below I Am Wearing A Navy Floral Skirt By "TRAC". The Brand Couldn't Be Found Online So Who Knows Where The Skirt Came From. It Is Super Comfortable Though. I Picked It Up For $5 At A Thrift Store. The Navy Pleated Collar Blouse I Found At ROSS For $12.The Red Knotted Kitten Heels Were A Steal At $5 (also Thrift Store). This Look Altogether Cost Me $22. As Always I Encourage You To Find Your Clothing At A Second-hand Store For Many Reasons. My Main Points Being: You Can Support A Small Local Business, Savings And Lower Cost For You, And The Last Because Currently, The Fashion Industry Is NOT Sustainable. The Trend Of "Fast Fashion" Where We Toss Out The Old And Quickly Buy The New To Be Seen As "Stylish", "On Point" Or "Trendy" Is Dangerous To The Environment.......

Love Really Is Spelled T-I-M-E. My Son Needs Me To Love Him More With My Time Than I Love My To-do List With My Time. My God Needs Me To Love My Husband And My Son More Than I Love My To-do List. It Requires A Little Sacrifice, But It's What Makes All The To-do's Matter To Our Lord In The Long Run.

CHILDREN SPELL LOVE, T-I-M-E My two-year-old son, Micah, is obsessed with cars right now. From the moment he wakes up (before his eyes even open), he starts asking for a truck or a car. The other night I heard him “vroom-ing” in his sleep. His heart is filled with a passion for cars. A few nights ago, I was researching for a study my husband and I are planning for our teens and Micah was playing with his cars. I…

BIRTHDAYS LEAD TO PONDERING With each passing birthday, I grow ever so conscious of the lessons that are shaping me into the person I am. From the day I said "I DO" to each birth of my children, I grow. Spiritually and emotionally, my mind is shaped by the experiences God has given me. After recently turning 27, I pondered what I have learned thus far in life. This led to a rather messy list on two pages, which I…

Instead Of Picking A Quote For The Year, Carefully Choose One Word To Live By. A Word That Will Help You Press Toward Your Goals. In This Post I'll Explain How To Pick One And Why.

If you read my last post on How To Conquer The Ladder In 2018, then you know where I stand on new years resolutions. One thing I'm doing different this year is picking a single word to live by. I came across another blogger who did this and I thought it was pure genius.  ONE WORD FOR THE WHOLE YEAR !?! Why one word? What could a single word bring to mind? When we pick a single word to live…

Spending time with God can be a daily struggle. We are so busy running after our kids, working, taking care of our husbands, and cleaning, that it's hard to take a breath, let alone set aside 30 minutes for quiet time. With the New Year quickly approaching, many of our resolutions may be centered around growing spiritually. We all want to spend more time in prayer, read the Bible in a year, and wake up on fire for God, but…

READ THIS BEFORE YOU WRITE YOUR 2018 GOALS + RESOLUTIONS! (STAY TUNED FOR A VIDEO AT THE END) As the clock strikes midnight and everyone celebrates, I can’t help but feel lost in thought. Instead of thinking about the promise of the new year, I’m reflecting on the previous one. This time last year all the goals were written down and there was so much hope that they would be filled and accomplished. Not knowing it then, discipline was not…

Words cannot express how thankful I am for God's Mercy. It truly endures forever. I thought it would be nice to make a list of Bible verses that mention it. Not all of them are below because there are 474 places in the King James Bible where it talks about His Mercy. If you haven't read my post about the Greatest Gift In The World Please Click Here. Trip To Edwards Apple Orchard

Our family took an afternoon trip out to Edwards Apple Orchard in Poplar Grove, IL during our trip to Wisconsin last month. We had such a fun time exploring the old farm. There is so much to do at this location. Look at how lovely the old barn is! We probably spent an hour looking through their mini market and HUGE store filled with gorgeous farmhouse decor all located inside the old barn. They also sell fresh pressed apple cider…
